Absolutely outstanding hotel! Location in Montmartre, not too far from Place de Clichy and Blanche metro stations. Immediately welcomed at reception by very friendly staff (who were very patient with me trying to say everything in French - merci beaucoup Sebastian!), my room wasn't ready yet but they made every effort to get it ready as soon as possible and take my bags up for me. They had a walking map of Montmartre with some iconic sights to see which was a handy way to spend a few hours while waiting for my room to be ready. I had booked an apartment with views of the Eiffel Tower so I could watch the Bastille Day fireworks, and I was not disappointed! The apartment EXCEEDED my expectations! Quelle magnifique - c'est superbe! The apartment had luggage storage and hangers near the entrance, separate toilet, bathroom with a luxurious shower and free-standing bath (complete with fluffy robes and slippers), dual vanities with heaps of storage... and doors that opened out to the Paris skyline! The room itself was very large, with a small mini fridge and desk, but also a lovely rocking chair and again doors that opened out to the Paris skyline! Plenty of lighting, excellent free wifi, beautiful amenities... I wish I was able to stay longer, but I was able to open my balcony doors/windows and watch the Parisian skyline and the lights of the Eiffel Tower in the distance, as well as the fireworks. A truly magnificent experience, and a real luxurious treat in bohemian Montmartre! I did not have breakfast/room service nor did I go upstairs to the rooftop bar, but I am sure they would have also have been wonderful... the bar was certainly very popular as everyone seemed to go to the 7th floor! I would absolutely not hesitate in staying here again, I had a truly superb stay! Felicitations a tout!

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Terrass Hotel. The location is great, it's a short walk to the main area of Montmartre and about 10 minutes to the closet metro station. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our room was on the 6th floor and we had a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower from the balcony, the room is beautifully decorated and the bed was super comfortable. The shower in the bathroom was excellent, and the bathroom had every amenity. We had breakfast in the Terrass Restaurant and it was fantastic, there was a lovely selection of hot and cold food, the smoked salmon & scrambled eggs in particular were superb. Every staff member we spoke to, from the staff on the reception to the cleaning staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. A huge thank you to all the staff at the Terrass Hotel for making our stay so special.

This is our place to stay in Paris. Our French friends tell us that Montmartre is not real Paris or French, but we love it here and we always stay at this hotel. We have tried other places in the past but we now look no further. Apart from the location which is easy to go to the Eurostar, walk down town or catch the metro it's just a nice place to stay. Unlike some of the other older hotels in the area you don't have to step out of the shower and turn around to wash your other side. You will never run out of restaurants to eat at. Apart from the main street there are lots of smaller restaurants in the back streets to dine at. Other reasons we stay here are, the staff, air-conditioning, lift/elevator, roof top bar and restaurant, you can see the tower.

First and foremost, the hotel staff was absolutely magnificient! They were very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome from the first moment we walked into the hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect. Only a 5 minutes walk from the Moulin Rouge and the nearest metro station was ideal. There were also a lot of different restaurants near by. The hotel breakfast was not spectacular but OK, and as my wife told me, pretty close to the standard hotel breakfasts in Paris usually are. Even the basic room was sufficient in size for two, even though the bathroom was maybe a bit cramped. Our room had a view towards the Eiffel Tower so we got to enjoy lovely light shows every evening.

Very welcoming staff indulged our attempts at French, but also spoke English when needed. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Ours (606) had a small balcony, with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Convenient location for exploring Montmatre on foot, and close to Metro stations for further afield. Breakfast was very good, though fixed price €25 is a bit much if you want just a croissant and a coffee, so our friends went to a nearby café instead. Plenty of good restaurants close by, including the café where Amélie was filmed. Quite expensive, but no more than expected. We enjoyed the roof bar, but it was quite chilly even with the heaters on.
